Today:

  • MapleStory Universe and OpenSea are hosting a free mint event that ends today, May 12, where players can claim an MSU Scroll SBT on OpenSea to receive exclusive in-game NFTs-an OpenSea Chair and NXPC Headband-for MapleStory N by connecting their wallet and minting on the official collection page.

Upcoming:

  • MapleStory N, the first blockchain-based MMORPG in the MapleStory universe, launches globally for PC on May 15, but will not be available in the US or over 50 other countries at launch

  • Adidas is launching 2,600 mystery box NFTs on the Sui blockchain for the new game Xociety on May 16, offering players Adidas-branded in-game clothing across four rarity levels and a share of in-game revenue through XCS tokens.

  • RuneHero's first Closed Beta Test runs until May 24, offering a $20,000 base prize pool (plus 60% of player spending), with cash, NFT, and in-game rewards available through PvP and PvE leaderboards, and access limited to holders of an xRune NFT or an Access Code.

This past week:

  • Moonray: Battle Lands launched its closed beta on Steam on May 10, featuring reimagined Heroes, two new characters, technical upgrades, new arenas, a new battle pass, and full controller support, with sign-ups required for access and an AMA scheduled for May 15.

  • Riot Games has named Coinbase the exclusive crypto partner for League of Legends and Valorant esports events starting June 2025, featuring custom broadcast segments, fan rewards, and digital giveaways, with no in-game crypto features at launch but potential for future blockchain integrations.

  • Square Enix’s Web3 game SYMBIOGENESIS, previously set for discontinuation, will be revived and redeveloped on Sony’s Soneium blockchain platform to leverage blockchain technology for enhanced gameplay, interoperability, and cross-game rewards within Sony’s expanding Web3 gaming ecosystem.

  • B3 has launched Play to Win events and an AR-based airdrop standard to boost user engagement and reward distribution, allowing players to join blockchain gaming tournaments and claim real-world token drops via the B3AR app, all aimed at enhancing participation within the B3 ecosystem.

  • Pudgy Penguins, one of the most prominent NFT brands, has officially launched Pengu Clash-a fast-paced, skill-based multiplayer game on the TON blockchain.

  • Boss Fighters’ $bftoken can now be traded directly on Ethereum using your Metamask wallet, no need to use centralized exchanges. This makes buying and selling much easier since you don't have to deal with KYC or transferring tokens to platforms like Mexc or Gate.io. However, liquidity is still low.

When withdrawing from the Open Loot platform, your tokens would land in your Ethereum wallet (like MetaMask) — but that was just the first step. To actually sell those tokens, you'd then have to transfer them to a centralized exchange like MEXC or Gate.io, create accounts, complete KYC, and wait for transfers to clear.

And if you’re based in the U.S.? You’d even need to use a VPN just to access those platforms.

Those days are over.

Now the journey is dramatically simplified: withdraw directly from Open Loot to your MetaMask wallet, and swap immediately on Uniswap. One less step, zero headaches.

With this new Uniswap pool, you can:

  • Buy $BFTOKEN using USDC (or route from ETH) directly from your wallet

  • Sell your game earnings or buy tokens without ever touching a centralized exchange

  • Keep full control of your assets without third-party custody
