Weekly Web3 Gaming Updates

Today:

  • Lumiterra is launching its second Closed Beta Test (CBT 2) today on November 11, 2024, running for approximately three weeks, featuring enhanced equipment systems, six difficulty levels for dungeons, a new team-based PvP mode called Escort Slime, and improved beginner quests.

Upcoming:

  • Blast Royale $NOOB is scheduled to have its Token Generation Event and official listing on November 13, 2024.

  • Boss Fighters has rescheduled their economy test to November 14, 2024, allowing players to earn Proxy $BFT tokens and test the game's blockchain-based economic features, including crafting and upgrading in-game items using the token.

  • PARAVOX, a competitive 3v3 arena shooter, announced its expansion to the Solana blockchain, backed by a $4.5 million funding round led by Digital Hearts Holdings and Gree Ventures, with a limited-edition Solana-themed skin available for free download until November 15, 2024, to celebrate the integration.

  • SHRAPNEL is launching its "SHRAPNEL Holidays 2024" event on November 18, 2024, featuring daily missions and rewards for players, including skin fragments and NFTs.

  • MapleStory Universe has announced its second Pioneer Test, an Open Beta Test running from November 20 to November 29, 2024, featuring exclusive events and in-game rewards worth up to 5 million NXPC tokens, aimed at optimizing system stability and gathering user feedback before the official launch of this blockchain-integrated virtual world ecosystem.

  • Crystalfall, a steampunk hack-and-slash RPG, has announced its open beta release on December 13, 2024, on the Epic Games Store. The free-to-play beta will feature deep character customization, randomized skill trees, and a unique itemization system, with exclusive in-game items available for players purchasing supporter packs using Razer Gold.

  • Star Atlas has launched its largest event, the Golden Carnival, running from November 1, 2024, to February 21, 2025, offering $4 million in prizes across 16 weekly loot drops, where players can participate by crafting or purchasing Golden Tickets to win rare in-game assets and collectibles, with strategic elements including 12 regular weeks ($200,000 prize pool each), 3 mega weeks ($400,000 prize pool each), and a mystery finale week.

  • Iuppiter has launched a new Web3 conversion platform that allows game developers to easily integrate blockchain elements like NFTs and token economies into traditional games, streamlining the process of creating Web3 gaming experiences without the need for third-party publishers or extensive blockchain knowledge.

  • Moonray, a multiplayer combat game, has announced plans to expand its ecosystem to mobile devices, aiming to broaden its player base and offer immersive gameplay with optional Web3 features to a wider audience while maintaining its presence on PC and preparing for a PlayStation 5 launch in 2025.

  • Gods Unchained launched its Season 2 Formats on November 4, 2024, featuring Pauper Mode from November 4 to November 15, where players are restricted to using only common cards and can earn rewards with a 1.2x multiplier, encouraging strategic deck-building with limited resources and providing an accessible competitive environment for both new and experienced players.

Star Atlas is offering players a shot at $4 million in rewards through weekly loot drops! Here’s everything you need to know about how to join, key dates, and rewards:

How to Participate

  • Craft or Purchase Golden Tickets:

    • Crafting: Use in-game resources like Titanium, Toolkits, Electronics, etc., to create Golden Tickets in SAGE Labs.

    • Marketplace: Alternatively, buy tickets from other players in the Galactic Marketplace.

  • Submit Tickets:

    • Visit Hedgehog to submit your tickets for each weekly loot drop.

  • Join the Weekly Draw:

    • Tune in to the Star Atlas Discord every Friday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET to see if you’ve won. Arrive 30 minutes early for mini-games to win additional tickets.
