Big Time Strategies: Your Guide to NFT Transfers

Step by Step Guide on How to Send Items to Other Accounts on Open Loot

Did you know you can take Big Time items out of the game and either send them to other Open Loot accounts or store them in your own wallet? How much does it cost? We'll answer all questions and walk you through step by step.

• First, go to "My Collection" on Open Loot by clicking the top right profile icon.

• Make sure you move your items from "in-game" to "marketplace items". You can select multiple items as well by clicking the check boxes on the top right of each item. Then, click Withdraw.

• Next, connect your wallet. Gas fees are an estimate here. Also, this fee is for transferring 2 items. The gas will be cheaper if you only transfer 1.

• A pop up will appear. Click connect with your MetaMask wallet.

• After you connect your wallet, click Send Signature Request.

• Another pop up will appear. Click Sign In.

• Double check the address that you want to withdraw to and click Withdraw.

• Click Pay and Withdraw. Make sure you have some funds in your Open Loot account. The gas fee will come out of your Open Loot account balance.

• Congrats! You just took an item out of a video game and secured it on the ethereum blockchain with a self-custodial wallet. The gas fee to transfer 2 items was around $19.

• After transferring your items from Open Loot to Metamask, you can now see your items on Opensea........ maybe. Not sure what happened here. To transfer the items back to yourself or to a friend, select the item(s) and click "Transfer" in the bottom right on OpenSea.

• Put the Open Loot address that you want to send the items to. Keep reading to find out how to get the correct address from Open Loot.

• Go to the top of your "My Collection" page in Open Loot and click Deposit.

• Select Ethereum(721) in the dropdown tab and copy your address. You'll need to paste this address when you go back to OpenSea.

• When you paste the address in OpenSea and click Transfer, another pop-up will appear. You have to click Approve in order to transfer. If you feel uncomfortable granting Big Time access to your Big Time nfts, you can revoke access right after you transfer. https://etherscan.io/tokenapprovalchecker

• Next, click confirm to approve the gas fee. The gas fee to send 2 items from Open Loot to MetaMask was around $19. To send from MetaMask to Open Loot was around $12. The total gas fees to send 2 items back and forth was around $31. It will be cheaper for single items.
  

• Congrats! Your transfer is complete and you learned how to withdraw Open Loot items and send them back! This feature is great if you want to send to friends. Just make sure you consider gas fees. Cheaper items won't be as economical to send.
