Upcoming:

  • Off The Grid, a cyberpunk battle royale game developed by Gunzilla Games, is set to release on PC and consoles within the next 60 days, according to a statement by Piers Kicks.

  • Nakamoto Games announced plans to launch a mobile application featuring over 35 games, allowing users to earn, trade, and manage digital assets on the go. The platform also revealed upcoming airdrops for Telegram users to earn $NAKA tokens.

  • The 2024 GAM3 Awards, scheduled for November 22 in Manila, has opened voting, inviting the community to help recognize the best in web3 gaming.

  • Forgotten Playland, a free-to-play social party game with Web3 elements, is set to launch on the Epic Games Store in November 2024.

Today:

  • RoboKiden Initial DEX Offering (IDO) for $KIDEN is starting on September 30th, 2024. The IDO will be conducted on the Elixir launchpad, offering players the opportunity to participate in the game's economy. $KIDEN will serve as the core token for the blockchain-based shooter game, used for purchasing NFT lootboxes, upgrading in-game items, and as rewards for various activities.

  • Illuvium announced that additional details regarding their ILV airdrop will be revealed on September 30, 2024. This update is expected to provide more information about the distribution and claiming process for the previously announced 260,000 ILV token airdrop campaign.

This past week:

  • Google Cloud and Solana Labs launched GameShift, a new tool on the Google Cloud Marketplace designed to help game developers integrate blockchain features into their games. GameShift offers wallet integration, asset management, and marketplace functions, simplifying the adoption of Web3 technologies for traditional game studios

  • W3GG, a decentralized gaming protocol backed by Yield Guild Games (YGG), announced the listing of its native token $W3GG on Gate.io, MEXC, and Uniswap, scheduled for September 25, 2024.

  • Valhalla, a Web3 MMORPG, partnered with Alliance, a global esports organization, to expand its reach in the competitive gaming space.

  • EVE Frontier, a Web3 space survival game developed by CCP Games, is conducting a closed playtest from September 27 to October 7, 2024. Players who collected raffle tickets through the game's campaign may participate in this test, which is the last invite-only phase before broader access.

  • Dark Times, a Web3 post-apocalyptic survival game, conducted its Token Generation Event (TGE) for its native token $DARK on September 28, 2024, marking the official launch of the token on decentralized exchanges.
