Upcoming:

• Shatterpoint's Season 1 launches on September 9, as a free-to-play title on Android and iOS, featuring competitive PvP gameplay where players can earn Sparks and future $POINT tokens through leaderboards, Charged Crystals, and NFT cosmetics.

• Reaper Actual's "Foundation Access" is launching around September 22, 2025, offering early access packs that grant players entry to this fast-paced, open-world persistent FPS with faction warfare, base building, and an optional Web3 marketplace for in-game asset trading.

Ongoing:

• Boss Fighters is running a quest campaign on Immutable Play starting August 29, where players can complete in-game quests to collect Gems and claim rewards, integrating directly with Immutable's rewards system.

• The Variance Collection NFT mint on Somnia launched as a seven-day event starting September 3, 2025, featuring anime-style PFP NFTs priced at $15 in $SOMI, and offering AI-powered avatars, Aura rewards, early game access, and special incentives like bonus points and raffles.

• EVE Frontier offers a free 10-day trial from September 5 to 15, 2025, allowing new players called Remnants to experience its space survival MMO environment, earn in-game currency Grace through missions and activities, and explore new content in the game's second development cycle "Ash and Resolve".

This past week:

• Moonfrost launched its web3 features, letting players craft Frost Tools, earn CRYO, and participate in an optional blockchain economy within its farming RPG—all managed through Open Loot and designed to be accessible for both web2 and web3 players.

• Seraph launched its Season 4 PTR on September 3, introducing the highly anticipated Guild vs Guild system, Void Realm Invasion, new endgame features like the Equipment Black Market, Potion Crafting, and giving players a chance to test these updates early with free leveling items, NFTs, and passes.

• Open Loot launched a VIP Program in September 2025 featuring tiered rewards based on a 30-day rolling system that tracks marketplace activity and $OL token holdings, offering benefits like marketplace discounts, exclusive NFT and token drops, early access to sales, in-game perks, and priority support to engaged users.

• Paramount Pictures officially partnered with Activision to develop, produce, and distribute a live-action Call of Duty movie, aiming to deliver an authentic cinematic experience that excites both longtime fans and new audiences, with a focus on honoring the franchise's storytelling and action legacy.

• WorldShards officially launched its $SHARDS token on September 5, 2025, via a 100% fair launch with no team or investor allocations, distributing 60% of the token supply as player rewards, and listing on major exchanges like Bybit and Binance Alpha, supporting a player-driven economy in the blockchain MMORPG.

Moonfrost’s Web3 Adventure Begins

Moonfrost, the cozy farming RPG from Oxalis Games, has taken a big step forward by activating its Web3 features in Early Access. This new layer adds blockchain-powered mechanics to the game while keeping the core farming experience fully intact for traditional players.

What’s New?

The update introduces a blockchain-driven economy centered on Mystery Boxes, Frost Tools, and the in-game currency CRYO. Mystery Boxes can now be opened in-game to reveal valuable assets like Frost Workbenches, FROSTprints, Luck Charms, and other items that help players craft Frost Tools. These special tools come with a “Luck” stat that boosts farming outcomes and efficiency.

CRYO and the Path to $FROST

CRYO tokens are earned by using Frost Tools during gameplay. For now, CRYO remains an off-chain currency that can be redeemed for rewards like Mystery Boxes. Later this year, Moonfrost plans to launch its official $FROST token, at which point CRYO will be phased out as an earnable resource but can still be spent or converted.

Crafting Frost Tools

Crafting is at the heart of the Web3 experience. To create a Frost Tool, players need:

• A FROSTprint (the blueprint for the tool)

• A Frost Workbench (the crafting station)

• A base tool (stone, copper, silver, or gold)

• Liquid Luck, a premium resource required for crafting

Once crafted, Frost Tools inherit qualities from the base tool, gain durability, and generate Upgrade Points that can enhance other assets like Workbenches and FROSTprints.

Accessibility Through Open Loot

Moonfrost has designed its Web3 system to be inclusive. Using the Open Loot platform, players can trade or purchase assets with no wallet setup, gas fees, or crypto knowledge required. Traditional payment options like credit cards make the process seamless, ensuring that newcomers can participate without friction. Importantly, all of these blockchain mechanics are optional—players can still enjoy Moonfrost as a pure farming RPG if they choose.

How to Join

Early Access began in July, but the Web3 features went live in September. Entry requires a Gnome Key, which grants access to the game. From there, players can explore at their own pace, crafting, farming, and experimenting with the new systems.
